Africa's richest man, one of the men who makes one proud to be Nigerian has signed $3.3 billion deal to build a refinery in Nigeria, which when completed would be the largest in Africa and will turn Nigeria into a petroleum exporter.
At present, despite being one of the world’s leading exporters of oil, Nigeria has to import most of its fuel due to decrepit refineries that are on a whole unable to meet the nation’s needs.

The refinery, due to be operational by 2016 will produce 400,00 barrels of oil per day and millions of tons of urea for fertilizing crops, and produce plastics. It would also provide employment opportunities for thousands of Nigerians. Nice move by him, we need more of this from well meaning Nigerians.
